Delivery & Installation

We keep most items in stock and, unlike many of our local competitors, you can take them home at the time of purchase. If you would like them delivering and professionally installing then we offer the service (sometimes same day!). We offer a comprehensive service which is carried out by fully trained staff. This includes custom-fit Plasma and AV installations. We’ll check your aerial signal and give advice about reception..

Home Surveys
We charge £30 to visit your house and provide a written quote of your requirements. This is deducted from the price of any work/products provided.

Maintenance Plan
We offer Maintenance contracts both Annual and Five Years to give you piece of mind (for prices see below’).

Aerial Services
We subcontract out our aerial services to our approved installers.  Please contact us for details and we can put you in touch with some reliable Aerial fitters.

OUR CHARGES (Leicestershire only – outside available on request)

Door-step delivery : £10 + VAT (£12)

This consists of a delivery to your home address to the doorstep.

We do not come into the house nor do we unpack the product.

We do not remove the packaging nor do we remove any unwanted equipment.

Basic Delivery & Installation: £30 + VAT (£36)

Our standard charge covers:

-         Delivery, set-up & test of goods purchased,

-         connection to (but not set-up of) existing equipment

-         Demonstration of key features of the products (including scans see below)

-         Removal of packaging and old TV.

This specifically does not include relocation and re-installation of any existing equipment (enquire for charges) nor does it include Internet connection (see REPAIRS page).

Wall-mounting Service £80 + VAT (£96)

This covers:

• Checking the wall for hidden cables
• Fix bracket to wall and TV to bracket
• Connect all the cables

It does not cover embedding cables in the wall. We will surface–mount cable, using white trunking, to the wall if required at an additional cost of £4 per mtr. This is payable at the time of fitting.

Washing Machines Plumbed-in £40 + VAT (£48)

We’ll connect to existing pipe-work and remove your old machine.

American-Style Fridge Freezers £42 + VAT (£50.40)

We’ll deliver and unpack the product in your kitchen. You must ensure that the product is able to fit through your doors. Otherwise the delivery team will have to leave it in your garage or outside.

By purchasing a Maintenance Plan from us you get the following benefits:

• All necessary repairs free of charge including call-out
• Use of a loan-set
• Same-day call out (if call before 11.00am)
• Telephone support
• One free visit per year to perform software upgrades

If you do have a manufacturers’ repair guarantee you should bear in mind that it DOES NOT include provision of a loan set, guaranteed same-day service  or any help/visits relating to software upgrades. Our Support is done in-house with our own engineers – no insurance company is involved. With the increasing complexity of the products – Freeview HD, home-networking, i-Player etc we believe this support represents excellent value for money.
